# Community Base Map Servers

[88.io](http://88.io) provide a set of base map servers for non-commercial use.

If you are using them for commercial purposes, please contact us for permission first.

# Government Base Maps

We are making great use of free government [base maps](https://discuss.contacttrace.com.au/t/base-map-servers/49) in our fight with COVID-19.

Below is New South Wales Australia (NSW) government's high resolution base map being used.

Unfortunately, the NSW government is one of only few governments to open up their mapping data.

We desperately need more governments to open up their mapping data for the benefit of their citizens.
