Quick Start
1. Initial Data
When accessing https://control.aunsw.88.io for the first time, a pop-up window requesting permission to access the location might appear. Depending on your browser, please click on the Allow or the Allow while visiting the site button.
A web pin will be automatically added to the current location.
In the example below, the web pin detects the current location at a venue called "citymark building" located in the Haymarket.
2. Extra Data
Collect extra Locations under your Private Alias in ONE SECOND with just TWO clicks.
2.1. Current Location
On start up the Personal Console displays a map, showing your current location in the middle of it as a blue dot (as shown below).
2.2. Location Button
FIRST, click on the "Location Pin" button on the right of the screen (as shown above):
to add a Pin on the map to indicate your current location.
2.3. Web Pin
SECOND, click on the "Web Pin" button on the resulting menu (as shown above) to use the Web Browser's internal geolocation value as your current location.
2.4. Done
CONGRATS! You have just added your first information asset into your Private Cyberspace!
3. Share Data
Share You Location Without Server
Try sharing the Pin you just added WITHOUT going through any server, even the internet is not required!
3.1. Click 1
Click on the Pin from above to get a Pop-Up.
3.2. Click 2
Locate the SHARE section in the Pop-up window and click on "Point".
3.3. Look
The Display Link for that Point location will now be copied into the clipboard.
3.4. Send SMS
Paste the resulting Personal Console Display Link into your SMS app and send it to a friend!
