# Open Source Definition

Although we will much prefer to use the words Open Source as [defined by us](https://discuss.88.io/t/open-source/1491), we understand that it might caused confusion in the market place, so we have decided to use the generally accepted term [Source Available](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source-available_software) to described what we meant by our definition of Open Source.
