M.2 Slot

There is a spare M.2 M-key slot in the computer which can be use for adding extra hardware e.g. for an AI accelerator as seen below.

An alternative is to use the M.2 slot for a second NVMe SSD storage. The optional NVMe SSD should have as high Total Bytes Written (TBW) as possible.

We have been using the Silicon Power A60 1TB NVMe.

Our own test shows good performance for a 1TB NVMe drive at that price point with 5 years warranty and 600 TBW:

iozone -e -c -o -I -O -a -s 100M -r 4k -r 128K -i 0 -i 2
