Pioneer Bonus
If you are the first 1000 Compute Owner in your country, you can join our Citizen Startup program and get 200GB instead of 50GB for free.
2. Selling Storage
By 2024-10 we have reached the minimum 48 compute stations (16 Cluster Node Stations and 32 File Node Stations) required to start operation as a community under vahfoom3iquahfah.
Join us to help grow the world's first Infinite Disk to thousands of compute stations, the more compute stations we have, the more choices we have in mapping our nodes onto them!
-
File Node Hosting
Almost anyone can host File Nodes on their compute stations, if they have 8GB or more of unused storage on their local disk or simply by plugging in old USB Flash drives they no longer use.
-
Cluster Node Hosting
Hosting Cluster Nodes is more difficult, as we require a minimum of 40Mbps link upload speed and the average network latency to the 15 other cluster nodes must be less than 30ms with a packet loss of less than 3%.
2.1. Stage 1 - Trial
You need to set up start a File Node in your Compute Station and run it continuously for at least one calendar month with a maximum 6 hours of problem time (duration when you are providing no service or poor service). If that 6 hours in total within a whole calendar month of operation is exceeded, then you have to try again in the next calendar month until you have reached below 6 hours (360 minutes) within a full calendar month.
2.2. Stage 2 - Reciprocal
After at least one full calendar month of continuous Stage 1 operation with total problem duration below 6 hours in the past month, you can apply to be moved to Stage 2.
Besides receiving the vahfoom3iquahfah free storage from the team, all Stage 2 owners hosting File Nodes also receives reciprocal storage that is equal to the amount they are hosting.
For example, vahfoom3iquahfah works in units of 8GB, if you have contributed 8GB in a month (with problem duration below 6 hours) you will receive extra 8GB of free reciprocal storage.
Basically the larger the storage you can contribute without problems, the more free reciprocal storage you receive.
2.3. Stage 3 - Income
After at least one full calendar month of continuous Stage 2 operation with total problem duration below 6 hours in the past month, you can apply to be moved to Stage 3.
Stage 3 owners can share into the income that the community makes.
