Map Interface Options
Beside the Community Map, your Entity Agent has access to independent external mapping resources (External Mapping Data and External Mapping Interfaces) in order to:
- take some mapping workload off the Community Map
- provide redundancy when Community Map fails
- perform cross-checking of Community Map data
All private cyberspaces already come with a default External Map Interface configured, but you can change it instantly at anytime to your preferred External Map Interface.
OpenStreetMap Interface
The OpenSreetMap website provides an excellent alternative map interface to your Community Map.
For example the boundary of AUNSW (New South Wales Australia) is just one click away:
Agent Automation
Note due to the menu on the left hand side of the OpenStreetMap web page, the map image is pushed off-centre to the right.
This sort of cases is when your Entity Agent comes in handy.
The above is an image showing the boundary of AUNSW, your Entity Agent AUTOMATICALLY performs the offset (from blue dotted line to purple dotted line) for you when capturing images from OpenStreetMap web interface - so all your captured map images become a valuable member of your Compute Assets collection - traded for the highest possible price.
