available to Area Aliases with home in NSW (available worldwide during Citizen Startup)
Public Applications
available to anyone with home in NSW (available worldwide during Citizen Startup)
Note Area Entity applications are NOT designed for heavy production use, Community Entity or Personal Entity are more suitable for those use cases.
Scaling
aunsw uses the same Community Cluster scaling technology to handle the 8+ million residents plus the overseas compute owners under the Cyberspace Incubator program.
All aunsw.88.io area aliases receive an account on news.aunsw.88.io. This application is based on the mastodon glitch software and can be used for communications with other aliases.
Global Applications are online applications maintainer by aunsw.88.io as a public service. It supports approved OIDC compatible identity providers worldwide.
Single Sign-On (SSO) enables Area Aliases from different regions worldwide transparent access to a large number of applications hosted by each other.
For example, the following global applications allows single-sign-on from the Australian 138813.au identity provider.
You only need to login to any one of the applications once and you will be logged into the other applications automatically as you move between them. Your account will also be created automatically the first time you visit an application.
